Well, there has been one massive, unavoidable, overarching theme for 2011 so far...
SNOW. 
Lots, and lots, and lots of snow.
It used to be up to our waists. Now it's up to our chests...
Of course, if you're light enough, you can just shuffle along on top...
Of course, sometimes that doesn't work out so well. We have had a lot of snow days. When we have been here, we have worked on keeping everyone happy indoors.
Sometimes that involves making the indoors look like outdoors, only easier to comtrol...
...and much warmer!
We've added an area where children can bring a little music into these long, cold, winter days, and amped up our kitchen area with lots of homemade 'comfort food'.
Tortellini... 
...Tea...
